French Napoleon III style table. The table top stands on four legs with cabriole finish, characteristic of this style. The four legs have the same design with bronze appliqués in the shape of a leaf on the base, and busts of women on the upper part. The furniture stands out for the rich decoration worked with fine marquetry, with ornamentation of Renaissance-inspired candelieri, based on stylized vegetation using various fruit woods. In the center of the panel. The vegetal decoration continues at the waist, and as is characteristic of the Napoleon III style, the whole is ornamented with gilded bronze applications perimetering the tabletop, the trimmed skirt, the moldings of the legs and the chambrana.
In Napoleon III's time, the use of Boullé type marquetry was frequent, in accordance with the designs that the famous cabinetmaker popularized while working for King Louis XIV.
