It has silk thread suspension.
Preserves pendulum and key.
It shows wear on the dial, restoration in one of the corners and marble breakage in the back area.

Desk clock depicting the figure of the emperor dressed in the uniform of a Roman general. In contrast, Justinian is shown in a pensive attitude, to emphasize his intellectual profile. The face is very expressive, and there is a very detailed study of the hair. On the plinth, made of marble, the arms of the Empire have been arranged.
The bronze table clocks of the 19th century were key pieces in decoration and interior design, as well as symbols of social status and refinement. Elaborately crafted and often adorned with artistic motifs, these clocks not only served to measure time, but also reflected the technical advances and taste for fine craftsmanship of the era. Bronze, a durable and aesthetically appreciated material, allowed the creation of complex and elegant forms, integrating styles such as neoclassical or rococo, which made them highly valued objects in the residences of high society.
