Fireplace garnish formed by two bronze cups of classic inspiration that stand on red marble bases supported by four claw-shaped legs. The garnish is completed with the presence of a clock of clear sculptural conception since, on the box located in the center of the marble, which acts as a pedestal, the presence of the three Graces can be appreciated. The sculpture follows faithfully the design of the work known as the "Monument containing the heart of Henry II of France". The original group of the three Graces was sculpted by Germain Pilon, and the base was made by Domenico del Barbiere. The urn, also modeled by Del Barbiere, was lost and the present one is a 19th century version. The monument to the heart of Henry II was commissioned in 1561 by Catherine de Medici for her late husband. Placed in the church of the convent of the Celestines in Paris, it was to receive the hearts of the king and queen of France. Germain Pilon sculpted the group of the Graces, and the Italian Dominique Florentin created the triangular base. The marble original is preserved in the Louvre Museum.
