English fountain pen MABIE TODD JACKDAW TOLEDO DRAGON, 1920s.
Plastic and chiseled and gilded metal.
Engraved initials.
Pen of great rarity and beauty.
Measurements: 12,5 cm (length).
Finely decorated and engraved by hand with dragon motif in yellow gold contrast and matte black background, with Toledo clip and retractable 5-manifold nib (German, 1920s).
The Toledo is considered one of the most unusual of all Waterman overlay pens. This 45 is the largest of the few known Waterman's Toledo overlays, and possibly the only safety one. Ultra rare.
