ALVE VALDEMI DEL MARE (Cremona, Italy, 1885-Barcelona, 1972)

Signed in the lower left corner.
Measurements: 27 x 34 cm; 31x 38 cm (frame).
He studied in Bergamo, Milan and Rome. He specialized in the floral subjects, the landscape and the figure. From 1926, he resided in Barcelona, city in which he held several individual and collective exhibitions, in which the fluency of his drawing and the chromatic richness of his work were evident. His last personal exhibition was presented at the Sala Gaspar (1949). Posthumously, the Sala Jaimes (1974) and the Meifrén Gallery (1976), organized tribute exhibitions for him.
