Jerónimo Maya, Andalusian painter living in Madrid, made his first exhibitions in the mid-eighties, participating since then in numerous group exhibitions, in institutions such as the Joan Miró Foundation or the Academy of San Fernando in Madrid, and private galleries such as Fúcares (Almagro) or Ru-H (Malaga), as well as numerous individual exhibitions, including the most recent one held at the art gallery La Ribera, in Murcia. An important fact in his career was his stay in Rome, thanks to a scholarship from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2000).
