DESCRIPTION
JOSEP OLIVET LEGARES (Olot, Girona, 1887 - Barcelona, 1956).
Three framed drawings.
Pencil on paper.
Signed.
Measurements: 36 x 77cm (total with frame).
He began his training in Olot, and then continued his studies at the Galí Academy in Barcelona. He studies later in Rome and in Madrid, with López Mezquita. He participates in the National Exhibition of Fine Arts of Madrid in 1915, and the following year he exhibits individually in the Faianç Català. His work represents a continuity of the landscape school of Olot, although with a greater chromatic richness. Olivet Legares is currently represented in the Museum of Modern Art of Olot, as well as in various private collections.
