It presents marks of use and wear.
Measurements: 4 x 13 x 13 cm.
Decorative plate or circular center in ceramic with the seat painted with characters, a bird and other figurative motifs. It follows the characteristic aesthetic of the works of Joël Baudouin, ceramist who settled in Vallauris in 1957, where he made several monumental sculptures, working, among others, with Roger Capron and Pablo Picasso. At the end of the 1960s, he created the brand Les Grès du Maine. He continued his career as a ceramist in the 1980s, and for several years became the designer of Terres cuites des Rairies. Since 1995, he has devoted himself exclusively to painting and continues to produce glazed ceramic sculptures.
