DESCRIPTION
LOUIS DAGE (France, 1885-1961).
Vase, ca. 1930-1940.
In hand-painted ceramic.
Foot and details in gilded metal.
With mark on the back.
It has an old restoration on the top.
Measurements: 30 x 13 x 13 cm.
Vase of Art Deco period made by the ceramist Louis Dage, decorated with flowers of sensual corollas and applications in golden metal in the form of floral stems sprouting from the mouth. In 1930, Louis Dage opened a pottery factory with five kilns, of which he was to become general manager until 1935, when he took over the Faïencerie de l'Adour.
