This octagonal format panel represents the Virgin of Carmel, named after Mount Carmel, in Israel, holding the Child in her arms, welcomed in a break of Glory. The child is holding a rosary in his hands and playing with it. The iconography of the work is extensive, since on the earthly plane it depicts Saint Acisclo, a martyr who died together with his sister Saint Victoria for professing Christianity, and Saint Anthony, the most popular of the Franciscan saints after Saint Francis of Assisi.
