DESCRIPTION

MARIANO BRUNET COLL (Vic, Barcelona, 1918 - Barcelona, 1999).

Signed and located in the lower right corner.
Measurements: 48 x 63 cm; 70 x 85 cm (frame).
Outstanding watercolorist and draftsman specialized in the urban landscape, Mariano Brunet was formed and became known in Barcelona, and also participated in the II National Watercolor Exhibition in Madrid and in other exhibitions in León, Zaragoza, Valencia, Bilbao, etc. He was a member of the Agrupación de Acuarelistas de Cataluña, and exhibited individually for the first time at the Pallarés Gallery in Barcelona in 1942. He is currently represented in the Municipal Museum of Figueras, as well as in numerous private collections.
