Celadon porcelain.
Measurements: 7,8 x 23,1 x 23,1 cm.
The one we now present is a bowl of flared format embellished with ribs and concentric patterns.
The celadon type glazes require a reducing atmosphere of firing at 1300 degrees, thus achieving that characteristic olive green color, the result of the mixture of iron oxide and titanium. As a result of the thickness of the glaze, the surface is filled with air in the form of small bubbles, thus scattering the light as it strikes the surface.
