Carved wood.
Measurements: 90 cm.
Standing male figure, carved from a plank, with arms at the sides of the body. The head takes the form of a drop. The eyes and the mouth have been hollowed out by horizontal notches.
The Obi basin is located about 75% on Russian territory and, circumstantially, on northern Kazakhstan. The majority of the population is made up of Slavs. There are however non-Slavic peoples such as the Kazakhs, Turkic-speaking peoples of the Altai and the Shor in the southern mountainous areas.
