Set of 3 Chinese boxes. Qing Dynasty, 19th century.
Metal, hard stone, lacquered wood.
Shows marks of use and wear; slight flaws in the metal one.
Measurements: 7 x 5 x 5 cm.
Set of three small Chinese boxes of the Qing dynasty: one of them, in lacquered wood, is decorated with butterflies and other insects silhouetted in gold on red maroon. The other two are respectively made of metal (the rectangular one) and hard stone (the cylindrical one).
