In steel. Quadrangular white dial with applied hour markers combined with Arabic numerals at 12 o'clock. Dauphine hands, with central chronograph hand for 60 seconds counter. Three subsidiary dials, one for seconds and two for chrono (30 minutes counter and 1/10th of a second counter). Sapphire crystal. Auxiliary window between its 4 and 5h for date calendar. Faceted triple position crown at 3 o'clock flanked by double pusher for chrono control (Start-Stop pusher and Split pusher and reset). Quartz movement. It works. Includes Longines documents.
Measurements: 41 x 35 mm (total case).

Used as a watch, the Longines calibre 538 quartz chronograph indicates the hours, minutes, seconds and date. In its chronograph function, this model can time events lasting up to 30 minutes, while indicating the results 1/10th of a second. The following chronograph functions are available: standard start-stop function, add rallye function (partial times) and split function - intermediate times.
