This clock has a pendulum and a French movement. The clock itself is inserted in a structure formed by four columns supported on a rectangular base. The dial, decorated with a gilt and chiselled border, has Roman numerals and Breguet-type hands, as well as a polished pendulum. The sober structure of the whole is reminiscent of the architecture of antiquity.
