The collaboration between Swiss architect Mario Botta and Caran d'Ache is part of a long tradition. The company has always embraced current trends in architecture, in particular with legendary pens such as La Gothic and La Modernist.

The Mario Botta pen for Caran d'Ache reflects the Bauhaus approach in its sleek, minimalist design and cylindrical shape. Created in the pure, contemporary style of Mario Botta, it is topped with a genuine peacock feather that suggests a new fashion trend.

In 1970, Caran d'Ache launched the Madison collection, the first to include a fountain pen despite the company's 55-year history. The incorporation of fountain pens could therefore be considered a late arrival, but since then it has been gaining ground to become the maximum exponent of a brand born as a pencil factory and today, more than 100 years later, it has become a true benchmark in the sector of writing instrument manufacturers and a symbol of quality and good craftsmanship. Caran d'Ache fountain pens are currently grouped into three distinct lines: the Limited Editions line, made up of limited edition pieces characterized by their exclusivity, material richness and surprising designs, the Haute Écriture line, made up of high-end fountain pens distributed in different regular edition collections, and finally the Office Line series, made up mostly of pens designed to fulfill their day-to-day purpose, but which also has some fountain pens that, although more modest in material terms than the aforementioned, boast in any case enviable quality and functionality. A wide repertoire designed to satisfy the different tastes and needs of users and, in short, a whole world to discover and enjoy.
