Amada Suero is a self-taught artist. Although she studied pharmacy, she has kept her passion for painting and drawing since she was a child. She recognizes surrealism and Flemish painting as her main sources of inspiration. Her thematic interests are rooted in her childhood memories. She has exhibited in: Galeria Espai B 2012 Christmas collective. Barcelona; Gómez Riera Gallery 2013 "new surrealists". Boulevard Rosa. Barcelona; Galeria Espai B winter collective 2013 Barcelona; Museo Würth collective exhibition -espacio 120- 2014 La Rioja; Galeria Espai B collective (in progress ) 2014. Explains the artist about her work: "I always think about giving the composition a sense of humor that is mischievous and tender at the same time. In my work everything takes place in a baby-like room; I love wallpaper rooms and it connects me to my childhood, as I slept in one with similar characteristics when I was a little girl. Besides, my grandmother was obsessed with making sure we didn't lack dolls because she never had one during the war; we had a full room, they almost didn't fit, we had to hang them on the walls to save space".
