Born into a humble family, Rosich Rojas started painting when he was still very young, eventually managing to exhibit his works in some of the most prestigious art galleries in Barcelona. An eminently landscape painter, he worked on the one hand on nature "dominated and colonized" by man, representing in the most humble way precise and identifiable places such as the Pont de Suert. In other cases he focused his attention on cultivated fields, roads, hills and valleys with houses, human constructions that are fully integrated into the landscape. However, he also showed the abundant and free nature, in front of which the viewer even feels lost. Despite having made several trips around Europe during his maturity, Rosich Rojas always focused on the Spanish landscape, especially the Catalan one.
