Catalan sculptor and painter, Camil Fàbregas was formed in the Industrial School of Arts and Trades of Sabadell and in that of La Llotja of Barcelona, to later extend his studies in the academy of the Grande Chaumière and the School of Applied Arts of Paris, first, and later in Italy. In 1945 he met the sculptor Manolo Hugué, with whom he became close friends. In fact, he collaborated with him in the last works that the master made, before his death in 1945. Fàbregas worked in relief and rounded bulge, as well as in various formats. He made several public works in Sabadell, where in 1971 an anthological exhibition was dedicated to him.
