Graduate and Doctor in Fine Arts by the Polytechnic University of Valencia. In 1968 he is a scholarship holder of the Center of Calculation of the University of Madrid. He makes his first works with computer. Influenced by the Op Art introduced by Eusebio Sempere (1923-1985) in the Spanish panorama, by the work of Victor Vasarely (1906-1997), promoter of kinetic art; the language of Mark Rothko (1903-1970); as well as by the neoclassical aesthetic theories of the thinker Edmund Burke, Yturralde's work took a direction of study of the forms and projective systems.
The works of the artist from Cuenca are represented in various museums and collections, such as the Museo de Arte Abstracto de Cuenca, Brooklin Museum in New York, Museo Nacional de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid, Dep. Art and Sciences, The Asahí Shimbun, Tokyo. P.R. Norman Collection, New Orleans. USA or at the Martinez Guerricabeitia Foundation. University of Valencia.
In 2020 he was awarded the National Prize for Plastic Arts.
