Lamp following Giacometti's models

Following models by ALBERTO GIACOMETTI (Bregaglia, Switzerland, 1901-Cuera, Switzerland, 1966).

The shaft of the floor lamp is directly inspired by the female figures of Alberto Giacometti. This is shown by the delicate features of the face, which delve into the expression of the soul and the feeling of the human condition as the Swiss sculptor did in his "Figure debout" or in his "Women of Venice".
The Swiss painter and sculptor Alberto Giacometi was one of the most important artists of the twentieth century. His work inspired hundreds of later artists who, like the present one, based their production on the artist's sculptural guidelines.
