Exceptional Chinese-made desk-desk, with two front doors that hide a total of 11 drawers of different sizes and formats. Both the exterior doors and the interior drawers have been manufactured in an exquisite golden lacquer work on a black background representing landscape and animalistic motifs. Its exterior display is embellished with a variegated palace scene developed next to a lake navigated by boats. The twisted trunk of a tree on which large birds rest is displayed on the left side of the composition, balancing the scene. Each of the interior drawer fronts continues the oriental aesthetic of the rest of the cabinet, showing peasants and figures at rest engaged in their daily tasks. The oriental aesthetic of the cabinet contrasts with the French table on which it stands, typically European with pilasters, chambranes, scrolls and classical cups. The door hinges and locks also intensify the European character of the furniture.
