Measurements: 28 x 10 x 10 cm.
Table lamp whose design shows the influence of Art Nouveau. It has been made entirely in Murano glass, with a multicolored decoration resolved with the "millefiori" technique. The term millefiori is a combination of the Italian words "mille" (thousand) and "fiori" (flowers). Murano's reputation as a glassmaking center was born when the Republic of Venice, fearing fires and the destruction of the city's wooden buildings, ordered glassmakers to move their foundries to Murano in 1291. Murano glass is still associated with Venetian glass.
