DESCRIPTION

Carved and gilded wood.
They present faults and damages by xylophagous.
Measurements: 133 x 27,5 x 23 cm.
This pair of stipes is entirely made of carved and gilded wood. Its shaft is embellished with vegetal motifs that emerge from the four sides, and its lower part is reinforced by scrolls. The stipes are crowned by delicately carved cherub heads. The two faces are directly inspired by the models of the classical "putto", a child with regular features, broad forehead, small nose, large cheeks and wavy hair.
