Large ceiling lamp. France, Napoleon III period, second half of the 19th century.
Gilt and silvered bronze.
It has some faults.
It is in a very good state of preservation.

Great Napoleon III lamp of six lights, made in bronze. It combines gilded and silvered bronze, developing in ribbed arms finely embossed with a profusion of foliage, floral bouquets of beautiful corollas and tulips seated in foliated sheaths. The delicacy of the bronze work is evident in every detail of the decoration. Several putti worked in half-lengths evoke Atlanteans holding the sinuous arms adorned with festoons.
