The Book of Marco Polo - Study (Copy annotated by Christopher Columbus) is a facsimile edition published in 1986 by Testimonio publishing house, which reproduces with great fidelity Marco Polo's Book of Wonders, in the version known as Codex I, preserved in the Biblioteca Capitular y Colombina of Seville. This manuscript is especially valuable because it includes handwritten annotations attributed to Christopher Columbus, which makes the edition an exceptional testimony to the influence that Marco Polo's work exerted on the thinking and worldview of the discoverer of America.

The facsimile reproduces the manuscript in its entirety, respecting the format, colors, miniatures and calligraphy of the original, and is accompanied by a volume of studies that analyzes both the content of the Book of Wonders and the historical and documentary value of Columbus' marginal notes. This edition is bound with high quality materials and presented in a slipcase, in a limited and numbered edition, with notarial certification.

The work offers a detailed overview of Marco Polo's travels through Asia in the 13th century and provides insight into how these accounts fueled the geographical imagination and exploratory projects of the 15th century, particularly those of Christopher Columbus. It is of enormous value to researchers, bibliophiles and lovers of travel history, exploration and medieval cartography.
