Laureano Gisca began his artistic training in 1984, studying at the Ion Vlasiu Institute of Fine Arts in Tg Mures. Where he also studied sculpture. To complement his studies he began to work in various art workshops in Transylvania learning classical, secular and religious sculpture for Italy. In 1997 he moved to Spain where he works until today having links with several workshops such as Dorrego carved sculpture, Talleres de arte Martinez, Talleres de arte Granda. He also collaborates at certain times with sculptors such as Juan de Avalos, Joaquin don Aire, Santiago de Santiago, Venancio Blanco. In 2008 he exhibited his work in ART MADRID, in ART JAÉN where he presented four sculptures with Clave gallery and two sculptures in the project "Back to Reality". That same year the MEFIC museum acquired two of his works to be part of its permanent exhibition. In 2009 he participated in BACK TO REALITY, an international traveling exhibition, he also showed his work in the BIENNIAL OF CERVEIRA in Portugal, in ART LISBOA, the international fair of contemporary art Portugal, in THE LAST DEMOCRAT a traveling exhibition. In 2010 he exhibited in the gallery "MARITA SEGOVIA, in the BIENNIAL JACINTO HIGUERAS, in FAIM-Madrid-independent art fair. A year later he participated in FAIR ART-Brussels-international contemporary art fair, in ARTEXPO -Arezzo -Italy-international contemporary art fair, in ALMONEDA-IFEMA etc, among others.
