Roger Guérin, emblematic figure of the Belgian ceramics of the 20th century, is recognized for his mastery in the handling of stoneware and his contribution to the Art Deco movement. His works, characterized by timeless elegance and technical richness, cover a wide range of forms, from voluptuous Art Nouveau-inspired vases to sculptures and utilitarian objects with more geometric and refined lines.
Guérin was a true craftsman who knew how to combine tradition and modernity. Although his creations were deeply rooted in the Belgian ceramic tradition, they also showed a great openness to the artistic trends of his time.
