DESCRIPTION
Follows models of MILO, Miguel Fernando López (Lisbon, 1955).
"The thinker, skeleton". Homage to Auguste Rodin.
Patinated bronze.
Marble base.
Measurements: 21 x 10,5 x 10,5 cm.(figure); 3 x 13 x 13 x 13 cm.(base).
To turn Rodin's Thinker into a thinking skeleton is an ironic bet but at the same time, after this first superficial and frivolous reading, its contemplation takes us to more philosophical grounds and acquires the seriousness of an existential poem or a vanitas.
Milo, Miguel Fernando López is a Portuguese artist. His father worked as an antique dealer, so Miquel came into contact with different types of art from an early age and developed a passion for sculpture. He completed his training in Rome and Venice.
