The "Pixi" table lamp is Manel Ybargüengoitia's most celebrated design. Made of stainless steel, its shape is inspired by a mouse with overhead lighting.

Manel Ybargüengoitia Pallares is an interior designer from the School of Applied Arts and Artistic Offices of Barcelona and an architect interior designer of the International Federation of Interior Architects. He holds a diploma in Chronoanalysis from the Escuela Industrial de Barcelona and a Master's degree in industrial design from the Universitat Politècnica de Girona. He is director of the company Elkarta Diseirio S.L. He has taught at the Elisava and Lai schools in Barcelona and has given numerous conferences throughout Spain. He was a member organizer of the first ECIA interior architecture awards and member of the jury of the School of Fine Arts of Toulouse, for the final projects of 1991. His clients include Grupo Vichy Catalán, TramVia Metropolità, Grupo B-Lux and Hugo Boss. He has received several awards and his designs include the Pixi table light (1992) and the Domino board game (1996).
