The Rhea table has a plastic lampshade with a specially curved design and a type of material that allows the light to pass through creating a particular effect. Inside the lamp holder, the tube is rigid and curved and is covered by a plastic sleeve.

Since the 1960s, Marcello Cuneo has been a worldwide exponent of Italian interior design and industrial design. Throughout his career, he worked with great designers such as Arflex, Cassina and La Linea. In the 1960s he met Lino Saltini and then Gio Ponti, with whom he worked on several architectural projects. He designed legendary pieces such as the Longobarda lamp (1966), the Luisa folding chairs (1970) and the Mac armchair (1976). Throughout his life, he received numerous awards, including honorable mentions at the 1979 Compasso D'oro and the A. Palladio and Guten Industrieform awards. His work is currently exhibited in numerous national and international museums, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
