The "EBE 34" table lamps, which provide a soft and ambient light, exhibit the elegant and minimalist lines typical of mid-century modern design. Their semi-oval lampshade embodies the period's philosophy of integrating art into everyday objects.

Born in Murano, designer Giusto Toso continued the local tradition by working in his father's glassworks, "Fratelli Orso". He was the first to create a series of modular elements with a self-supporting glass system that illuminated large spaces in Europe, the United States and Japan. Giusto Toso has always been interested in finding new materials and techniques for working glass. Currently his work is preserved in the Corning Museum in New York and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and some of his lamps are also exhibited at the Pompidou Centre in Paris.
