JOAN TORRAS BACHS (Granollers, Barcelona, 1912 - 1984).

Measurements: 21 x 26,5 cm; 33 x 38 cm (frame).
Watercolorist dedicated to the Catalan landscape, Torras exhibited individually in 1951 in Buenos Aires, in the Müller galleries, obtaining great success of critics and public. He also held other important personal exhibitions, such as those organized in the Dardo Gallery in Madrid (1955) and in the Layetanas Galleries in Barcelona (1957). In 1984 the Barcelona gallery La Pinacoteca dedicated a tribute exhibition to him.
