EDUARDO LAGARDE ARAMBURU (Toledo, 1883- Donostia, 1959).

Military man of successful career, architect and draftsman, Eduardo Lagarde made in 1929 an exhibition in San Sebastián together with the painter Gustavo de Maeztu, the sculptor José Díaz Bueno and the painter Mauricio Flores Kaperotxipi. He collaborated in the newspaper La Voz de Guipúzcoa. His illustrations appeared in other magazines such as Rentería and he was the author of numerous posters such as the poster for the Donostia boat race in 1929 or the poster for the Eusko Ikaskuntza Basque Studies Congress in 1930. He was part of the GU group and worked with the architect José Manuel Aizpurua, for example in the New Hospital of San Sebastián (1931).
