A self-taught artist, Luis Eladio Diaz usually works in watercolor and paints Asturian landscapes. He has participated in numerous regional competitions. In 2005 he won the poster contest of the Antroxu of Gijón. He has also held several exhibitions in different parts of Asturias, such as Tineo and Gijón.
