Measurements: 17 x 12,5 cm; 28 x 24 cm (frame).
The painter Juan Belda was formed in the School of Fine Arts of San Carlos, in Valencia, where he was a favorite disciple of Joaquín Agrasot. He became known through the National Exhibitions of Fine Arts, being awarded in 1892 with honorable mention for "La última corona". He also participated in other competitions, such as the Alinari Competition in 1900 or the Valencian Regional Exhibition, where he was distinguished with a second medal. He is currently represented in the Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia.

In the foreground, the small white houses are piled up, with the church bell tower standing out for its height. In the background, the silhouette of the mountain that surrounds the town can be seen, giving depth to the drawing.
