Green translucent glass.

It presents marks of use and wear.
Measurements: 5 x 17 x 17 cm.
Circular box entirely made of translucent glass embellished with foliate motifs in gold and silver.
The Verlys glass was produced in Rouen by the Sociéte Holophane Français, a company founded in 1920. Later, in 1935, production was transferred to the United States, specifically to Newark (Ohio). During the French period, the pieces were mold-marked (as seen here), while the American pieces were engraved. Verlys produced blown and molded glass pieces, often decorated with delicate cold carving work, following tripartite compositions.
