Vase made of hand-painted ceramic, with an ornamental design based on borders of different colors, floral tulips and synthetic fretwork. The history of the Dutch Ivory Gouda manufacture dates back to the 18th century, when Pieter Dirksz van der Want, a tobacco pipe manufacturer, laid the foundations for different pottery companies of the van der Want family in Gouda.
