Bucky is an American professional skateboarder, multiple X Games winner in the vert category. He is sponsored by Element, Independent, Puma, Billabong and Von Zipper, among others.

Element Skateboards is a skateboard company founded in 1992, in Atlanta, Georgia, by artist Andy Howell and Johnny Schillereff. Since 2001, Element has been part of Billabong International.

Bucky started skateboarding at the age of 12. After several victories in amateur championships he entered the talent school of the Powell Peralta team, team of the legendary Stacy Peralta, in 1987. With this team he made his first skate video with Bones Brigade, a Powell Peralta team where Bucky coincided with a remarkable generation of skaters like Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero or Rodney Mullen.
