Galician painter of self-taught formation. In his beginnings he completes his formation in the Academy of San Fernando of Madrid. He is a companion of Antonio López. He wins the competition of the SEU exhibition in La Coruña for three consecutive years. First prize in painting among the students of the San Fernando Academy. He wins the prize at the National Exhibition in Granada. He also wins the C. Cultural Prize of St. Thomas Aquinas. In the delicate painting of woman by the window he establishes a fruitful dialogue with the Flemish school of the 17th century.
