The Galician painter Berta Álvarez Cáccamo graduated in Fine Arts at the Faculty of Sant Jordi in Barcelona, and after finishing her studies she did a doctorate at the same university, and later at the University of Pontevedra. He also extended his training thanks to various scholarships in Paris and Rome. She made her solo debut in Vigo in 1986, and since then she has held personal exhibitions in Galicia, Madrid, Balearic Islands and Aragon, as well as taking part in group exhibitions also at international level. She is currently represented at the CGAC in Santiago de Compostela, the Provincial Museum of Pontevedra, the Atlantic Forum in Oporto, the Spanish Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, the Museum of Contemporary Art Unión Fenosa and other important collections.
