Bronze sculpture, worked in round bulk. The Roman goddess of the hunt (Artemis, for the Greeks) appears here represented playing with one of her dogs. She is smiling and adopting a dynamic attitude, with her arm raised and her short tunic fluttering in deep, sensual folds. A quiver of arrows hangs from his sword. The bronze artist is inspired by neoclassical statuary.
