Sculpture of protective divinity in carved wood with a rustic and primitive style. In an upright position and hands on the chest, suggests an attitude of prayer or supplication. The facial features, within the aforementioned rustic style, have been simplified by the artist of the work, marking only the most basic, as well as the body, with a marked geometric character, the lines of the carving being visible. These types of pieces were created with the desire to ward off evil spirits and attract positive energies to the environment.
