Bang-Chiang is considered one of the most important prehistoric settlements of Southeast Asia discovered to date, being witness of a decisive stage in the technological, cultural and social evolution of the Thai people. The site was characterized by the numerous archaeological remains found, which give us evidence of the existence of a fruitful Thai agriculture and metallurgy.
