Pair of bracelets made in patinated bronze with ornamental motifs in relief representing coiled ropes. This type of pieces would be common in religious rites and ceremonies having a function not only ornamental, but also symbolic.
Bang-Chiang is considered one of the most important prehistoric settlements of Southeast Asia discovered to date, witnessing a decisive stage in the technological, cultural and social evolution of the Thai people. The site was characterized by the numerous archaeological remains found, which give us evidence of the existence of a fruitful Thai agriculture and metallurgy.
