Disc-shaped shell beads.
Measurements: 2.1 cm and 3.2 cm (approx).
String of flat disc-shaped shell beads. Each one of the beads is acquiring a greater diameter as these are arranged towards the center of the necklace.
The history of Lopburi dates back to the Dvaravati period, more than 1,000 years ago. According to inscriptions, Lopburi was incorporated into the administrative structure of the Khmer Empire during the reign of Suryavarman I. Control of Lopburi allowed the Khmer Empire access to trade across the isthmus of Kra.
