Offering tray. Cambodia, 19th century.

Offering tray made of red and black lacquer. It presents a foot of round base with shaft, adorned with moldings, that supports the tray or upper plate of round format. The piece has geometric ornamentation that is arranged as a frieze in the lower area of the foot and later, in the base of the dish and in the eaves, where the greatest ornamental profusion of the work is found. In the case of the bottom of the dish, it has a more sober design with a stylized floral motif in the center.
