Some gilding losses, craquelure lacquer, losses and restorations in the lacerations.

Pair of exhibitors-shelves made of carved, lacquered, gilded and polychrome wood. Both have the same format with a rectangular base that is advanced in the corners, two lower drawers and an upper area divided into several shelves of different formats. These shelves are decorated on the perimeter with openwork laceria in bone, giving a great expressiveness to the whole.

High levels of literacy, a successful publishing industry, thriving cities, and Confucian emphasis on cultivation nurtured a lively and creative set of cultural fields. uring this period, the European tendency to imitate Chinese artistic traditions, known as chinoiserie, also gained great popularity in Europe due to increased trade with China and the broader current of Orientalism.
