The brush pot is one of the objects that make up the group of tools of the letterer, of great importance throughout the history of Chinese art. They are generally pieces of great quality, made in highly valued materials such as porcelain, jade, etc. In this particular case the two jars are made of bamboo wood, which has been partially carved representing scenes of courtly characters located in a leafy nature, being the detail of the execution of an extreme virtuosity.
